We care alot, Part II

I'm wondering why the compassion-mongers at Wizbang have posted only one kinda-sorta item that mentions, but does not focus on, the earthquake in Pakistan, which near as I can tell, has killed 73,000 people thus far. In case anyone forgets, here's a post from one of those good-hearted Wizbangers from December 2004, who, after surveying the tsunami coverage, found a detestable lack of posting from "liberal" blogs:
We are continually told how much more liberals care about their fellow man than conservatives, yet 60,000 people are presumed dead and many of the liberals hardly mention it.

Reaction to that fun stuff here. The slave-monkeys here decided to do a fun search of Wizbang's site using the word "earthquake". What do you find? Links to aid organizations? Places to donate? An "aw, isn't that terrible?" Anything at all?

Nope. Just this railing against an AP article that appeared in the Washington Post that talks about how small we are in the grand scheme:

That mankind is an insignificant spec mostly meaningless to the universe at
large should be obvious to even the most casual observer of the world around
us.

Insignificant, indeed.
