A story in search of a headline

Always count on the InstaPundit for pure, unadulterated hackery.

MAJOR FIGHTING in Afghanistan: "Afghan and NATO forces killed more than 200 Taliban fighters in a major operation in southern Afghanistan, NATO said Sunday."

Alternative MSM-style headline: "Over 200 killed in renewed Afghan violence."

Ha-ha. And yet, unhelpfully, there's no link to that "alternative" headline. See, when you're InstaPundit, you have to post instantly, before you can actually, like, bolster your banal posts with actual evidence of your assertion.

What a complete hack.

Damn those traitors in the Pentagon!

The estimable Gateway Pundit whines:
It's interesting that the same day as this news [of declining deaths in Iraq] comes out the media warns about, "A surge in Iraqi sectarian violence and insurgent attacks leading to Civil War."

Yes, what is with those traitorous media types (at Fox News, no less!) obviously trying their best to cover up all the fantastic news coming out of Iraq. Yeah, it's all the media's fault for forcing the Pentagon to write the report, released Friday, warning about the possibility of Civil War. But we shouldn't pay attention to it, because it makes Gateway Pundit cry.

As I've said many times before, these people don't even know what they're angry about anymore.

Oh, and also...
